WeCare is an initiative by Torry Harris to promote green sustainability. We organized an afforestation drive with Biotasoil and headed out to Nayandahalli, Anekal. There, we planted 275 saplings – the first of many steps towards building an urban forest in that location. The afforestation process was a replication of the Miyawaki method, with a larger goal of 10,000 trees. We also engaged the local communities in our afforestation drive. It was a humbling reminder that while we are not the only ones who care about the environment, we belong to the few with the means to make a difference.
