January 18, 2016; Gurgaon, India & Dubai, UAE: Torry Harris Business Solutions (THBS), a multinational provider of business, technology and IT consulting services, showcased real-life examples of how businesses benefited from digital transformation initiatives, through events conducted at The Oberoi, Gurgaon & The Address Downtown, Dubai under the theme “Play the API & Digitalization Cards.”
THBS also released a book titled “The Digital (API) Economy,” which provides a step by step guide to digital transformation. The speakers at the events consisted of noted digital business design specialists like Randy Heffner, Vice President & Principal Analyst of Forrester Research; Rodrigo Naranjo, Vice President – Services of Gulf Business Machines (GBM); and Karthik TS, Head, Centre of Excellence at Torry Harris Business Solutions.
Heffner shared insights from across the world on digital transformation using APIs as a means. He also highlighted industry trends and presented a global view on the state of the digital economy and how it impacts businesses.
Karthik talked about purpose-driven digital transformation with its key drivers and the building blocks of a digital API economy. He explained the immediate steps and long-term steps involved in building a digital ecosystem to maximize revenue opportunities. He also detailed the tools and frameworks to accelerate digital transformation.
During the Dubai event, GBM’s Rodrigo Naranjo emphasized on the role of digitalization in transforming the business houses in the Middle Eastern Market.
