Torry Harris has been positioned as a ‘Niche Player’ in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant for Full Life Cycle API Management. Gartner Magic Quadrant research methodology (*) provides a graphical competitive positioning of four types of technology providers, in markets where growth is high and provider differentiation is distinct: Leaders, Visionaries, Niche Players and Challengers. As companion research, Gartner Critical Capabilities (**) provide deeper insight into providers’ product and service offerings by extending the Magic Quadrant analysis.

Torry Harris believes that its API lifecycle governance suite API-o-Blocks, a framework with four key blocks: Strategize, API Connect, API Govern and API Enable, uniquely meets these requirements as it is a highly flexible and cost-effective API management solution that offers more than just an API Gateway and a Developer Portal. Moreover, Torry Harris’ experience in SOA governance has helped Torry Harris to keep pace with the evolution through API management that matured with other Torry Harris consulting offerings.

According to the report, “It is impossible to provide the platform for any digital strategy, and run an effective API program to benefit from the API economy, without full life cycle API management.”
